GM - Compatible Tone Generation to install or as external Module

The DoX-1 is an in-house development. Thanks to the great support from Korg we have been able to pack the basictone generation of a PA-55/60/80 keyboard onto a small board. This board can be used with any Wavetable-Daughterboard-Connection.

IMPORTANT! - Please read this!

The DoX-1 Wavetable-Board works with all models of the Multistation and the Multiplayer series and can be easily implemented.
Please be aware that the Multistation series has different hardware versions, meaning that the hardware implementation varies and can be somewhat difficult.
Before you get a DoX-1, check the version of your Multistation.
This does not apply to a model of the MSX series.
The model series M2 /M8 /M8CD the implementation is only possible for Hardware-Revision TMX rev.4.
You can find out the version of your model by looking at the serial number on the rear panel of your device.
If your serial numbers are one of the following listed ones, then you cannot install the board by yourself!

M8: Ser.-Nr.: 30200001 bis Ser.-Nr.: 30200099
M8: Ser.-Nr.: 300200281 bis Ser.-Nr.: 30200285

In this case, for a small service charge our service team will take care of the board implementation.
Additionally they will perform a modification on Audio Out 3 and 4 and do a thorough check on your machine.
