This MP3 decoder card enables your Multiplayer to play back MP3 files as
well. MP3 files need much less harddisk space than WAV or AIFF files with
similar sound quality, so you can store hundreds or even thousands of full
audio playback songs on your harddisk! The MP3 songs are very quickly accessable
by entering their program numbers and ready for playback in less than a second,
just as usual on the Multiplayer for MIDI files. Like WAV files as before,
the MP3 files are combinable with MIDI files, e.g. for controlling your lights
by a MIDI track synchroneously to the MP3 file, or in order to trigger an
MP3 chorus sample at the right position of a MIDI file.The MP3 Decoder Board is available for all Multiplayer models (MPxx-W, MPxx-CDW) and can be obtained from your local dealer of MIDITEMP products. IMPORTANT: please specify your exact Multiplayer model, and also whether your device is equipped with a karaoke board or not.
